Join us through May 8th to fight those dreary winter doldrums is with an explosion of color! We are combining two of the community favorites-- A Playground of Color and Teen-Age Talent-- into one super fun, eye-catching show called A Playground of Talent!
The elementary artwork  is produced by students in kindergarten through sixth grade who attend elementary in Coshocton’s city and county schools as well as from home school. Works are chosen by the students’ art teachers for their creativity and excellence.

Through the various mediums of art such as acrylic, collage, crayon, and much more, let your spirits rise as you view this very colorful and exceptional exhibit. From all kinds of animals to fantasy creatures, self-portraits and landscapes, the viewer will enjoy how children interpret the world through the eyes of innocence and whimsy. It’s sure to brighten your mood.

The high school portion features fresh, vibrant artwork by young artists from area high schools including Ridgewood, Coshocton, River View, and the Coshocton Opportunity School. Works for Teen-Age Talent were chosen for their outstanding quality by high school art instructors and encompass a variety of media, ranging from watercolor, acrylic, digital art, and 3-dimensional art, to other mediums as well. The teen entrants will be judged by a panel of local artists. The categories are: 2-Dimensional, 3-Dimensional, and Graphic Arts.

A Playground of Talent is sponsored by the Schooler Family Fund. The Ohio Arts Council also helped fund this event with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
