A Scholarly Chat with Dr. Scott Butler
November 16th @ 6:00 PM

Dr. Scott Butler is back with a new discussion titled “Coshocton and the World in the 18th Century!”

The first Coshocton was founded about 1748. Events in Coshocton and Ohio shaped the course of history of the United States and the World in major ways. Dr. Butler will take known information about Coshocton and connect them to World events, and new information about Coshocton will be presented. At the end of the discussion, the winners of the 2023 Mary Harris Prizes Essay Contest will be announced and awarded.

Admission to the chat is $4 for adults, $3 for students, and free admission for Friends of the Museum members and participants of the Mary Harris Prizes Essay Contest. If you would like to pre-purchase your tickets, you may do so by clicking the button below.
