Kari Davidson
Delaware, Ohio

Biography
Kari enjoys both photography and haiku, so haiga has been a fun and challenging way to combine the two forms. She also enjoys collaborating with visual artists, including her sister Katie Davis and one of her kids, Reed Davidson. Kari sees haiku and haiga as a way to weave memories, the natural world, and human nature together in a way that creates space for something mysterious to emerge from the familiar... or to find something familiar in the mysterious or unknown. After living in Japan, Czech Republic, and New Jersey, she’s made her way back to Delaware, Ohio, near the family farm where she grew up. She works as a nurse practitioner, and likes word games, music, hiking, gardening with her husband Dwight, and traveling to visit their 3 groovy kids.
