Artist Statement
"The power and beauty of Nature, Art and Words. How each enhance each other, enrich my life and bring me joy. A panorama or a single leaf casting an unusual shadow. An epic or a phrase that paints a picture so clearly that you are in it. A piece of art that you've seen 20 times and still see something new or sparks another question.
I have always said 'I am not an artist' 'I am not creative' until recently. The concept of Wabi-sabi (appreciation of beauty that is imperfect set me free to explore my own creativity. Learning about and playing with different media to express my voice and vision. This piece of Kintsugi is an example. Just as I do as a docent trying to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable with art. I invite everyone to explore their own creativity, by their own artist."
