Haiku as a Gratitude Workshop
November 15th @ 1:00 - 3:30 PM

Prepare for the season of Thanksgiving by spending an afternoon at JH Museum on November 15th from 1:00 - 3:30 PM exploring how reading and writing haiku can teach us to pay attention to the world around us, deepening our awareness of the gifted nature of life. Holli Rainwater will be your guide as we explore the notion of gratitude, highlight some of the elements that make a good haiku, and learn how to cultivate “haiku mind,” a way of being in the world with open-hearted awareness. No haiku experience necessary! This will be a friendly and fun experience with an emphasis on curiosity and connection to ourselves, each other and the world we live in. Admission to the workshop will be $5.00 and can be paid in advance by registering below or at the door on the day of the event.
