Membership

The Friends of the museum organization promotes the plans and activities of Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. Friends support the museum through an annual membership drive and public fundraising. Members also volunteer their time to the ongoing work of the museum in a number of ways:

  • Collection management such as cleaning and preparing artifacts for storage
  • Visitor relations
  • Exhibit maintenance
  • Educational programs by assisting in programs such as adult lectures and children's day camp

Friends membership benefits include:

  • Preview party for special exhibits
  • 10% discount in Museum's gift shop
  • Quarterly newsletter
  • Free Admission

* The JHM Teen Volunteers meet regularly to participate together in creative activities and plan programs for the wider teen audience. They also commit themselves to at least five hours of volunteer work at the Museum.
