Anthem for Doomed Youth; Poetry of WWI

Jeremy Glazier, Associate Professor of English at Ohio Dominican University, covers the early, exuberant verses of Rupert Brooke to the later, more cynical poetry of Siegfried Sassoon, Rudyard Kipling, and others, highlighting key authors and quintessential themes. Professor Glazier will share the most significant touchstones for understanding expressions of humanity in the grip of the most devastating conflict the world had ever seen.
