What
Women Want
A Night Out Just for Women
August 28, 6:30 P.M.
What do women
want? To start with, time to relax with friends and feast on
beautiful cuisine with a pleasurable glass of wine. The
Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum will be offering this and more at
What Women Want on August 28th. What Women
Want—A Night out Just for Women—features a luxurious
five-course dinner and a What Women Want auction of
designer handbags, pamper packages and sweet extras.
The affair begins at
6:30 with hors d’oeuvres and locally produced wine from Rainbow
Hills, Raven’s Glen and Heritage wineries. Silent auction
bidding also begins at this time as well as the opportunity to
inspect the pamper packages that will be auctioned off later on
in the evening. The five-course gourmet dinner, prepared by Chef
Michael Cichon and served by black-tie waiters, begins around
7:00. Hi-Fi Rendezvous, a favorite local jazz combo, will be
providing the atmosphere during appetizers and dinner.
A
mini fashion review, The Magic of Accessories, follows
dinner and prepares potential bidders for the What Women Want
Auction. Designer handbags, spa packages, dinner and
overnights, indulgent gardening packages and home repair
packages are just a few auction bundles that will be available.
What
Women Want
is a fundraising event organized
by The Friends of the Museum. All proceeds will be used
to support the museum’s educational programs. Admission is $35
and includes hors d’oeuvres, dinner and two complimentary wine
tickets. A cash wine bar will be available. If you are
interested in sponsoring a full table or an auction item,
contact the Museum. Tickets may be purchased at Liberty Lady,
Sheree’s Salon & Spa, and the museum. Credit card purchases may
also be made by calling the museum at 622-8710. Ticket sales end
on August 20th.
