
West Lafayette Enamelware
Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum’s final exhibit of 2005 is West Lafayette
Enamelware. The exhibition runs Sept. 24 through Jan. 4 and
features enameled kitchenware and hospital ware manufactured by The
Lafayette Stamping and Enameling Company, The Jones Metal Company and
Moore Enameling & Mfg. Company. All items are part of the collections
of Dan and June Markley and Marty and Tammy Glazier. Also included in
the exhibit will be a display of products that The Jones Metal Products
Company and Jones-Zylon Company are currently manufacturing. Of
interest to collectors as well as local history buffs, the exhibit is
also remarkable for its emphasis on innovative industrial design. On
display through the holidays, West Lafayette Enameling will
provide interesting entertainment for your extended family. Museum
hours are noon to 5 daily through Oct. 31. Nov. through Jan. hours are
1:00 – 4:30, Tues. through Sunday. This exhibit is sponsored by The
