The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum Foundation

In last quarter’s newsletter we listed the names of annual fund donors.  Our apologies to Fred and Carol Hosfelt who were left off the list.  They have been faithful contributors to the Friends of the Museum and generous volunteers throughout the years.  We couldn’t do it as well without them!!!  Thanks, Carol and Fred.

An 85th birthday and tribute party was held at Lake Park Pavilion on June 3 for legendary fiddle maker, Cliff Hardesty.  Near 300 guests came to celebrate.  Great music, great folks, great fun!  Sponsored by The Coshocton County Arts and Cultural Alliance.

Pooch Blackson was the mover and shaker behind Artwork of Benton and Matt Clark, on display through July 30.  Pooch was also our guest speaker for an evening program, The Men Behind the Paintings—the Lives of the Clark Brothers on June 22.  We are in his debt for this wonderful exhibit—a testimony to the Coshocton community spirit.

A Keene Elementary 6th grade class shows off the paper Samurai helmets created after their tour of the Asian Gallery in May.  Staff gave 51 school tours in April and May, and many of those included an extra hour for crafts.
