On March 13th children celebrated St. Patrick’s Day at the Museum with Irish music and fables along with holiday crafts, food and games. These youngsters are sporting their green bowlers under a balloon rainbow. Several hold their pot of gold that they have filled with gold pieces (butterscotch-dipped crackers). The kids had so much fun we may just have to do this again next year.

The Dave and Brenda Lozowski family pose before a Lozowski original during the Artists’ Reception for A Playground of Color. They and about 450 other people—artists with their families—enjoyed refreshments and children’s art.

Special thanks to Ken McCollum who led a free ceramic workshop for teens on March 5th. The student’s work will be displayed at the upcoming Teen-Age Talent exhibit. This workshop was sponored by the Mary Taylor Family Fund.
